In January, Absolute Building Solutions had the opportunity to partner with Freedom Builders to provide a local Traverse City homeowner with a new roof.
A couple recently moved to the Traverse city area into a mobile home they had inherited. When they got to the home they found that the neighbors had been dumping trash inside the home for several years. Their plan was to live inside their van while remodeling. When winter came they moved into a bedroom inside with no heat or water. The wife, who is bedridden, couldn't get around due to weak floor boards. This is when Freedom Builders stepped in. They hauled away the garbage and started making the house structurally sound. When we at Absolute Building Solutions heard they would be living under a tarped roof for the winter we decided to send a crew to install a new ISO foam deck roof and EPDM rubber roof. It left the whole crew feeling grateful that they were able to help a family in need and we hope to have the opportunity to do other projects with Freedom Builders in the future.
