It's been a mild fall in Traverse City, but winter weather might be on the way.
Windy weather with gusts up to 35mph are possible Wednesday and Thursday. Clouds are expected to come in, with a chance of rain that could turn to snow. Wednesday and Thursday nights have the highest chance of snow, although there is a chance of snow through the end of the week.
The harshest of the winter weather doesn't seem to be coming in just yet; Traverse City isn't expected to get more than an inch. All the same, it's a reminder that despite a long fall winter will be coming in.
It's also a reminder for home owners that there are not many chances left to get fall roofing work done. High winds, rain, and snow prevent roofing contractors from roof repairs and roof replacements. If your roof isn't ready for the winter weather, make sure you get a roof inspection schedule as soon as possible.
